The perfect summer walk!

Kim Vella

Looking to do some cardio and sightseeing at the same time? Pierre’s got you covered!

This time, Pierre took his viewers on a tour of the coastline between Xghajra and Marsascala.

Said walk is absolutely dotted with historic artifacts, such as World War Two pillboxes and a coastal tower dating back to 1659, making it the perfect outing for a Maltese history buff.

The abundance of pillboxes may be attributed to the fact that this spot is so close to the Grand Harbour, Pierre suggested.

The adventurer started his trek off from a popular swimming spot in Xghajra, surrounded by gorgeous, blue waters.

Along the way, he came across countless gorgeous inlets inviting passers-by for a quick dip.

This trail also lead Pierre to the Inwadar National Park, which will soon be undergoing an afforestation.

Throughout the walk, Pierre notes that the trail allows hikers to choose between rocky terrain and flat ground, the latter being more suitable for your leisurely Sunday stroll.
