Having represented Greece in the last two Malta Fashion Weeks and participated in Athens Xclusive Designer Week 2018 this year, Herminas Reea Brand features haute couture gowns that have appeared in the likes of Vogue UK and Vogue Italia. And the Greek-Armenian designer’s latest collection, the beautifully titled Butterfly Effect, shines in these shots taken around Malta’s stunning capital earlier this year.

Shot during Malta Fashion Week in May, the shoot was lensed by Swedish photographer Anna Osk Erlingsdottir, who was also on the island for Fashion Week. Apart from being in Malta at the time, designer Hermina explains, “we chose Malta for this artistic photoshoot because Malta, and especially Valletta, has a lot of beautiful places.”

The international models chosen for the shoot wear dresses from Hermina’s Butterfly Effect collection, which the designer describes as exuding “class, elegance and finesse.” Featuring a selection of gorgeous gowns, Hermina explains that the collection is “very sensual and feminine”, in which “the female body is highlighted through the use of fitted designs and high-quality fabrics.”

“Lace detailing, ruffles, stones, beads, taffeta, tulle and intricate detailing features within the collection to accentuate a woman’s mystery and innocence.” Meanwhile, she adds, “the combination of colours, details and materials bring flair, drama and a refined sensuality simultaneously.”
