Poor things! Four-week-old kittens found abandoned in a paper bag
What a heart-breaking site!

Kim Vella

Animal Welfare Gozo recently revealed that it came across two kittens, aged between three to four weeks, abandoned in a tiny paper bag.

The grim discovery was made on ‘the side of a street in Ghajnsielem’.

Apart from the cruelty of such an action, the suffering these poor creatures, both mother and kittens, are being put through is beyond words," the organisation wrote.

“Why, when you can approach us to obtain a free neutering voucher? Please do the right thing and neuter your cats,” it continued.

The good news is that these little ones survived the traumatic experience and are now in the safe hands of Animal Welfare, receiving the care they deserve.

"How some humans could be so cruel is unimaginable! Shame on those who do these horrible acts when these creatures give us unconditional love," one commenter wrote.

“How despicable to dump then in a plastic bag and leave them to suffer a slow death. Shame on the person responsible, added another.

Should you ever require assistance from Animal Welfare Gozo, you can call up the organisation on 79691717.

Thank you for saving these little cuties!
