In the mood for a swim with your furry best friend? Official dog beach finally opens in Birzebbuga
The dog friendly spot is right by Wied Buni bay.

It’s no secret that dog owners across the islands find it quite difficult to find an accessible dog friendly beach but they can finally rejoice as a dog official beach has at last opened up in Birezebbuga.

The dog friendly beach can be found along the Wied Buni Bay which is a few metres down from the local cat café and right by the sailing club.

This great news was announced by local councillor Doriana Portelli. “I’m looking forward for more work in favour of our animals”, she continued to express.

This is not the only accessible dog friendly beach in Malta. A list of all the different beaches where you can go for a refreshing dip with your pet can be found here.

Do you plan on visiting with your furry best friends?
