Here’s why you never have to say no at the db San Antonio Hotel
db San Antonio Hotel in Qawra offers an all-inclusive break for those who want to chill out and never have to say no.

Sometimes all you want to do is relax. You don’t want to have to book any excursions (you don’t even want to wake up early for them!); you don’t want to have to worry about where to eat in the evening and you definitely don’t want to be chasing time to make sure you fit everything into your short holiday. You want to leave your frazzled brain at home and be waited on hand and foot. Luckily, the superior 4-star db San Antonio Hotel offers just that, with their handy all-inclusive stays. Here’s why!

Be waited on hand and foot

Since the hotel is an all-inclusive resort, guests arrive and have all the facilities to remain comfortably ensconced in its exotic surroundings. The aim is to make each and every guest feel as comfortable and at home as possible, without the need for even having to leave the building. You can even book a massage, or spend time in the steam room!

Lots and lots of food!

What can you have for breakfast here? Name it! The hotel boasts several restaurants offering food inspired by various cultures. In the main restaurant, the Guéliz, massively large buffet tables offer a spread worthy of a king or queen. Live cooking stations including ones for pizza and pasta, prepare fresh food for all guests, and vegetarians and vegans are also catered for. Just ask for what you need, and the hotel staff will bend over backwards to provide it. Meanwhile, if you fancy some more exotic fare, head to the Tagine, the Yushan, the Q-Zins, the Taza or the dBistro restaurants – all on the premises – where you can find buffet tables featuring an assortment of food from North Africa, India, Asia and, of course, the Mediterranean.

Everything you need – right in your room

The hotel has 512 rooms. There’s a wide choice when it comes to room types, with many featuring balconies. Isn’t it time you pushed the boat out and spoilt yourself? If it is, book a suite! And since all the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, you can wake up in the morning and make yourself a cuppa, slipping back into bed to enjoy it in slow warm sips.

Something happens every day

The hotel’s staff want to make sure all their guests have a great time. On long summer days, there’s a ton of activities by the massive main pool. In the evenings, live entertainment is organised at the main bar, which is large and positively heaving when it gets busy. The hotel has its own in-house entertainers: dancers, singers and acrobats will make sure you laugh and sing till your sides split. And if that weren’t enough, a local magician makes a surprise guest appearance every week.

So much to do for the kids!

Watch your kids scream with excitement as they slide down the pirates ship’s slides ‘up deck’ by the main pool. It promises hours of fun! And if your kids somehow get bored of tumbling into the water, the hotel offers not one or two, but three kids’ activity rooms, each adapted for a different age group. For the older kids, there are even PlayStation consoles and tablets.

A touch of sports perhaps?

For those game, a beach volley pit is located by the main pool, and can also be used to play soccer or throw a round of bocci (which is similar to the English game of bowls). There’s a mini-golf course for enthusiasts, or for those who just want to swing a club. If your partner is a fitness fanatic, be aware you might lose him or her for hours in the indoor gym (about to be extensively refurbished and reopening in March 2018). It’s so well-equipped, you might never find your better half again

Not just for families

This hotel isn’t just for families. The 10th floor is exclusively for adults, and it’s brand new! The infinity pool is stunning and the views from up top are spectacular. I’d recommend enjoying it with a drink in your hand from the newly-opened Taza sky bar, which offers cocktails and drinks throughout the day.

It’s not only about the resort

Even though there’s lots to do inside the resort, the management can also sort out excursions – if you really feel like peeling yourself off that sunbed. If you just fancy a walk up the road to the National Aquarium, they’ll sort out your tickets, and can even arrange a boat trip to Comino, so you can experience the stunning clear waters of the Blue Lagoon for yourself.
